Namma Metro Route Planner — Bangalore

Plan the fastest route between any two Namma Metro stations, with fare, platform, boarding direction and interchange details.

How the route planner works

Choose a boarding station and a destination station. The planner searches the operational network — the Purple, Green and Yellow Lines — and returns the quickest itinerary, including which platform to stand on, the direction the train is signposted towards, how many stops the journey takes and where to change lines if a change is needed. Stations on the Pink and Blue Lines are shown on the map but are excluded from routing until those lines open, so the planner never suggests a journey you cannot actually make today.

Fares, tickets and interchanges

Namma Metro fares are based on distance travelled, from ₹10 for the shortest journeys up to ₹90 for end-to-end trips. Every result shows both the single-journey token price and the discounted Namma Metro smart card price — the card saves 5% during weekday peak hours and 10% at all other times. Children under 3 ft in height travel free. Changing lines does not cost extra: the interchanges at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, known as Majestic, and at Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road are inside the paid area, so one ticket covers the whole trip however many lines it uses.

Journey times

Estimated times come from BMRCL scheduled running times and include time spent stopped at intermediate stations. Where a journey requires an interchange, the estimate adds five minutes per change to cover the walk between platforms and the wait for the next train. Trains run roughly every three to eight minutes in peak hours depending on the line. Allow a few additional minutes at the entrance for the security screening that applies at every station.
